Is washing dishes with antibacterial soap and hot water enough to prevent disease transmission via that route?

There is a local day care center in my area, and the owner of puts 1 cap full(that's about a tablespoon) of Ammonia into the dish water, along with the antibacterial dish soap...





She cares for 15 kids and rarely do they get sick while in her care.





I use it too, because Ammonia will not tarnish my silver ware as will the pure bleach.
