Is it more wasteful to leave the water run while washing dishes or to buy throw-away dishes?

I want to be as wasteful as I can be.Is it more wasteful to leave the water run while washing dishes or to buy throw-away dishes?
It most likely would be more wasteful to buy throw away dishes since so much energy is used to put into making them. First you have to have water and nutrients to grow the trees. After that you need to cut down the trees and process them which takes fuel. After processing the wood, it needs to be taken to a paper mill to be turned into a material to make paper plates and then needs to be turned into plates. This all takes electricity which is drawn from our power grid.

This applies to the creation of plastic plates/utensils. Alot of energy is used to create these products and some water is used in the energy production.

24% of the worlds water goes to industrial processes while only 7% goes to municipal( our houses). That means that domestic use of water is tiny in comparison to industrial.

What I am saying is it is much less wasteful to wash your dishes and keep the water on unless you live in a region in which water is very limited resources (ie. Arizona, New Mexico, or other southwestern states). Is it more wasteful to leave the water run while washing dishes or to buy throw-away dishes?
You should be ashamed of yourself,

when you do that it doesn't only affect you but all of us,because of your scary attitude, where else do you want to be wasteful..... Your probably someone who doesn't have to worry about the water bill or electric. or fill up your gas tank for this exuberant amount of money just to go to work...

Grow up and stop being so selfish....
Buy a dishwasher. It's more efficient than running the water and you don't have to wash dishes. Besides eating off of chemically treated paper plates can't be good for you.
Why not do both?

And while you are at it, be sure to use lots of strong detergents.

I hate those 'eco' things they don't do anything but waist money. The good ol, Lysol, and bleach are great.
leave water running
I like you already...
Do both. =D
