All science aside - I'm not very good at chemistry - it just plain makes your hands dry, unless you are using a soap that has moisturizer in it. Or at least, that's what I was told.
It just makes your hands dry. The highly polar lipids adhere to water quickly, but the detergent really wont hurt skin
