which cost more? using your dishwasher or washing dishes in the sink?

And this is on a daily basisWhich cost more? using your dishwasher or washing dishes in the sink?
Hand washing your dishes in the sink is much cheaper and echo friendly.Which cost more? using your dishwasher or washing dishes in the sink?
the dishwasher. more electric usage and you have to buy the specia tablets which are expensive, then you have to load the crockery a special way. no thanks!

I do it by hand in the bowl, just a quick squirt of fairy washing up liquid, hot water and Bobs your Uncle
Using the dishwasher costs more than washing dishes by hand. Plus using soaking your hands in the soapy water will make them soft.
washing dishes in the dishwasher
dishwasher cost more cause electricitiy usage and dishwashing liquid.

handwashing doesn't involve electricity, just dish soap.
Its all relative. what I would do is look at your dishwashers specs and find out how much water is consumed per cycle wash. Then I would let your sink fill up as you hand wash a normal load of dishes. When done you could use an empty gallon of water jug and measure the water that way. Once you figure out how much water was used by cleaning manually you can compare to that of the machine. Hope this helps. Ps if you have kids this would be a cool research project for them!!

I've a dish washer and i only use it when it is full up and then it is switched on i only use it every other day ,so if i was washing the dishes by hand I'd need to wash all the breakfast ,dinner, tea and supper dishes cutlery and glasses and cups all at different times and this would waste time, as the dish washer does this for me they do have different programmes so you decide how long it washes for. Also i have a family of 4 and i hate having to do all that washing up.So it may cost more but for me it's more practical to use a dish washer.
Dishwashers cost more to run due to the amount of power used, but coming from someone who doesn't have one, I WOULD RECOMMEND A DISHWASHER. Washing your own dishes is inexpensive, yes, but I hate standing there washing dishes for an hour every time I cook. So, in conclusion, dishwashers may be a bit more pricey, but they don't require time, or your energy.
