do i need a special dish washing detergent?Washing dishes:is it the same if i use detergent for clothes to wash dishes or?
You should use cascade or another soap for dish washers. I used a drop of dawn one time when i ran out and i had a kitchen floor full of suds.Washing dishes:is it the same if i use detergent for clothes to wash dishes or?
Dish washing powders are formulated for removing grease and wash off easily. Unlike those for clothes which produce a lot of foam and are more soapy.
the laundry soap that is made for clothes has different chemicals in it, it could possibly make you and your family sick... it is good to use the soaps that are made for certain things and even then, make sure that you are not using alot of it at a time, and then use good hot water to rinse your dishes to get off the soap film... ;0)
It is best to use detergent or soap made specifically for dishes--the clothes detergent will produce too much foam, which can interfere with the proper function of the washer...

I wouldn't use it. It may bubble over. I used just a few drops of dish liquid one time and made a mess even though I just put a little in there. I don't know if it would make too many bubbles or not.
